I am a L2P Mentor and was recently fortunate to be able to take advantage of Courtenay”s offer of a free mentor driving session. We met at Carlton VicRoads and after a short discussion of what I was hoping to get out of the driving session; and Courtenay outlining what we would cover in our drive, off we went. We travelled all around the local area and encountered numerous different road and traffic situations. He passed on a many tips and suggestions covering all aspects of driving that I will certainly take on board and impart to my mentees in my role as an L2P Mentor. Even though I have been driving for more than 50 years. the positive and constructive feedback I received from Courtenay was most welcome.

Courtenay gave 5-6 lessons for my 16-17yr old son when he first started driving. The first lesson I was invited to sit in the back of the car. Courtenay was extremely patient, kind and calm and informative. My son and I thought he was a fantastic teacher - would highly recommend!

Courtenay recently spoke to a group of volunteer drivng mentors in the L2P program. His knowledge was totally comprehensive and his communication of complex issues was superb. But what impressed me most was his vision for going beyond the mechanics of driving to develop drivers who enhance the safety and efficiency of our road system and the experience of all who use it.

Courtenay knows what he is doing and understands the rules of the road better than anyone else I know.

I've been in the car with Courtenay a number of times and can confirm that his instructions are immensely helpful.

I would rate 10 or even 100 stars if I had the option.

I am a driving mentor and wanted to refine my skills and also learn some tips to pass onto my student drivers. I found Courtenay to be really thorough and clear. Helped understand techniques better even though I’ve been driving 25 years! I am much more confident now in my mentoring and driving too!! Highly recommend for students and those wanting to refine their skills more!

I can’t recommend Courtney enough! After struggling with multiple instructors and feeling like I wasn’t getting anywhere, he was the one who finally got me through. His patience, clear explanations, and supportive approach made all the difference. He really took the time to help me build my confidence and improve my skills, and I’m so grateful for his guidance. Courtenay is a really great driving instructor- relaxed, thoughtful and just wants you to be the best driver you can be - for life. I recently got my licence after a few years of nerves and couldn't have done it without his patience and advice. Cheers!
